Vixino Knives creates modern folding pocket knives for people who view everyday carry as more than simply keeping a cutting tool nearby. The brand combines practical performance, comfortable handling and distinctive styling to produce knives that are enjoyable to carry and ready for daily work.

Vixino began as an idea shared by people who already lived the everyday-carry lifestyle. They carried pocket knives, discussed new designs and paid attention to the features that separate an ordinary folder from a knife that becomes part of a daily routine. For years, however, the idea of creating their own knife brand remained only a possibility.

That changed when a friend encouraged the team to stop waiting and take the first step. Vixino was built around effort, honesty and the willingness to turn an idea into something real. That experience inspired the company’s message: “Live Sharp. Carry Bold.”

The phrase reflects Vixino’s approach to both knives and everyday life. Staying sharp means remaining prepared, observant and capable. Carrying bold means having the confidence to take action rather than waiting for the perfect opportunity.

Vixino Rockshark Folding Pocket Knife

The Vixino Rockshark is a modern everyday-carry folding knife developed around balance, comfort and reliable performance. Its manageable dimensions provide enough cutting capability for regular use without making the knife unnecessarily large or difficult to carry.

Each Rockshark measures approximately four inches closed and uses a three-inch 14C28N stainless steel drop-point blade. This size makes the knife useful for opening packages, cutting cord, trimming materials, working around the shop and completing general household or outdoor cutting chores.

The Rockshark’s clean profile gives it a modern appearance, while its practical materials and straightforward controls make it a working knife rather than simply a display piece.

14C28N Stainless Steel Drop-Point Blade

Vixino Rockshark knives feature 14C28N stainless steel blades. This steel is widely appreciated in everyday-carry knives because it offers a useful combination of corrosion resistance, toughness, edge performance and ease of sharpening.

The drop-point blade shape provides a strong, controllable tip and a gently curved cutting edge. It is one of the most versatile blade shapes for an everyday pocket knife because it performs well during both slicing and controlled detail work.

Depending on the selected model, the Rockshark blade may have a satin, stonewashed or black stonewashed finish. Satin finishes provide a clean, traditional appearance, while stonewashed finishes can help disguise light scratches and marks from normal use.

Although 14C28N provides good corrosion resistance, the blade should still be cleaned and dried after contact with moisture, food residue, dirt or other contaminants. Occasional lubrication of the pivot can also help preserve smooth operation.

Smooth Crossbar-Lock Operation

The Rockshark uses a crossbar lock positioned near the top of the handle. This style of lock can be operated from either side, making it convenient for right- or left-handed users.

Because the lock controls are located away from the blade’s closing path, users can release the blade without placing their fingers directly beneath the cutting edge. The design also supports smooth one-handed opening and closing once the user becomes familiar with the mechanism.

Dual-sided thumb studs provide a convenient opening point, while caged ceramic bearings help the blade move smoothly around the pivot. Together, these features give the Rockshark controlled, responsive action suited to regular everyday carry.

Textured Micarta Handles

Knife Country USA offers Vixino Rockshark knives with blue, green and black Micarta handles. Micarta is a durable composite material commonly used on working and outdoor knives because it offers a comfortable feel and dependable grip.

The Rockshark’s textured Micarta scales are shaped to sit naturally in the hand without creating an overly aggressive surface. This helps the knife remain comfortable during routine tasks while still providing enough texture for secure control.

Micarta can gradually develop additional character through handling and use. Small variations in its appearance are part of the material’s appeal and help give each knife a slightly individual look.

The blue Micarta model provides a distinctive alternative to more traditional colors. The green version has an outdoor-inspired appearance, while black Micarta offers an understated choice that fits easily into most everyday-carry setups.

White G10 Rockshark Knife

Vixino also offers the Rockshark with a white textured G10 handle. G10 is a fiberglass-laminate material known for strength, dimensional stability and resistance to moisture.

The white G10 model stands apart visually from darker everyday-carry knives. It pairs its bright handle with a black stonewashed blade, creating a contrasting design that appeals to collectors and users who prefer more distinctive gear.

While the handle color differs, this model retains the practical Rockshark format, including its 14C28N drop-point blade, crossbar lock, thumb stud, pocket clip and lanyard hole.

Convenient Everyday Pocket Carry

A good EDC knife needs to perform when opened, but it also needs to carry comfortably throughout the day. The Rockshark’s four-inch closed length provides a useful balance between cutting capability and portability.

Each model includes a pocket clip that keeps the knife accessible and helps prevent it from shifting loose inside a pocket. Selected Rockshark configurations use a reversible, tip-up clip, supporting convenient carry for right- or left-handed users.

A lanyard hole provides another way to personalize the knife or improve retrieval. Users may add a short cord, bead or retention loop according to their carry preferences.

Choosing a Vixino Rockshark

The Rockshark models available from Knife Country USA share the same general dimensions, steel, blade shape and locking system. The primary differences are the handle material, handle color and blade finish.

Choose blue Micarta for a distinctive but practical everyday-carry knife. Green Micarta complements outdoor and earth-tone gear, while black Micarta provides a classic, discreet appearance. The white G10 model offers the boldest visual contrast and is an excellent option for collectors or users who want a knife that stands out.

Whichever version you select, the Rockshark provides a useful combination of 14C28N stainless steel, a versatile drop-point blade, ambidextrous crossbar-lock operation and comfortable pocket carry.
