Dirty Bird Knives was established in 2016 in Albuquerque, New Mexico by best friends John Orr and Luke Fraser. Combining their passion for working with wood and metal, they aimed to create dependable, handcrafted knives. Both have extensive backgrounds as blue-collar workers and military service members, which has instilled in them a deep appreciation for well-made tools. Their operation focuses on handcrafting each knife, ensuring quality and performance. Despite being part-time makers, their dedication and craftsmanship have garnered substantial support from the community and customers.
