Lion Steel B41 Bushcraft Knife Series is a closely related variation of the Bushcraft 40 Knife range which has been quite popular among bushcrafters for a while now. This knife range is designed by Moletta, the nickname of knifemaker Michel Pensato: the Carthago. The B41 knives are designed to perform dissimilar camp tasks and other heavy-duty use. The major difference between Bushcraft B40 and Bushcraft B41 knife is in the handle; instead of the broomstick type handle of the B40, the handle of the B41 is milled a little thinner and tapers more toward the front. The spine of the B41 is crowned a little more as well. It also includes a different sheath, one with a closure strap instead of the "clack" style sheath of the B40. Other important features of Bushcraft B41 knives are a flat back tang that can be used in tandem with fire steel to light a fire. The B41 is equipped with a Sleipner stainless steel blade which is great for wood carving tasks.
