Decent enough
By Chris W. on February 24, 2023In general let me say that Rough Rider makes reasonably decent work a day knives that look like more expensive collector's knives. They tend to be fairly decent quality, especially for the price, but suffer from pretty consistent quality control issues. I wasn't expecting tons out of this knife, but it being from Rough Rider's 'premier' Reserve Read more line, I was expecting a little more than I got.
The general look and feel of the knife is good, with decent snap on opening and closing. My biggest complaint is that the blade is not as wide as the spring, resulting in more play in the blade than I would like in a working knife.
When you figure in the cost of the knife plus shipping, it cost me nearly what I would have spent on a Otter Messer anchor knife or three rivet model with free shipping on eBay, which are much higher quality knives.
