For a true "knife snob", this might not suit their tastes. BUT, for someone wanting a quality knife that's affordable, sharp and able to withstand some punishment, you cannot go wrong. I've purchased a good number of knives in the last year or so including; Buck, Muela, Joker, Puma, Old Timer and several other brands, both well known and not so
Read more well known and this may have been the best buy of the bunch. Everyone knows the Buck name and most everyone respects their products. However, some buyers will not purchase knives made in China or Pakistan and I think they should likely relook that opinion. This knife is produced in China as is the full sized Selkirk, but "China" is not stamped on the blade and you'd never suspect it was produced there if you simply handled and used it. For 50 bucks, I don't think you can beat this knife's inherent value. You WON'T be disappointed if a 4" drop point blade is what you're needing or wanting!
