Winchester Knives Warranty Information
The Winchester Limited Lifetime Warranty
Every Winchester is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the life of the owner. Winchester will repair or replace with a new knife (at their option) any Winchester knife that is defective.
Since Winchester knives include lifetime warranty coverage, the company cares whether the knife in question has sentimental or collectible value. Keep in mind that knives covered under the warranty that cannot be repaired are replaced. If a knife is replaced, the owner does not receive the original knife back. So, if your knife has sentimental or collectible value, Winchester will return the original knife without a replacement. Some knives cannot be repaired depending on the limited availability of parts. In these situations, Winchester will furnish a currently manufactured item that most closely matches the item sent in for repair.
Defects and repairs not covered under warranty:
Winchester does not warrant its products against normal wear or misuse. Winchester knives are not intended to be used as hammers, chisels, pry bars, or screwdrivers. If your knife was damaged due to misuse, our repair department can analyze the damage and repair it for a reasonable fee.
