Its designers, engineers, and technicians develop each cutlery range with excitement and precision. It has been serving the French Military for centuries. French Army has traditionally provided its troops with the Bivouac, then the Baroudeur (up until 2017), and the CAC starting in 2018.

Since its inception, the SME TB Groupe has operated with an eye toward the future while remaining true to its founding principles. This has allowed the company to push itself toward developing a genuine innovation policy consistently. As a result, TB Groupe is the market leader in the French household and professional artisanal cutlery markets. The company's success can be attributed to its stability, engagement, and dedication.

Find a wide variety of cutlery, including kitchen, table, collector, prestige, ceramic, high-quality steel, flatware sets, and more; all made to the highest standards by industry leaders. Tarrerias-Bonjean, a family business making knives for centuries, has risen to the industry's top by combining exceptional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.

Since 2018, the C.A.C.® (Combat. Assistance. Campaign.) has been the primary tool of the French military's field operations. This model was created with the French Army needing a sturdy and totally ambidextrous knife that could be quickly used with either hand. The French knife company Tarrerias-Bonjean (TB), which has been in business for 13 generations, collaborated with retired special forces soldier Philippe PEROTTI to design this blade. The collaboration between these two companies ensured that the C.A.C.® knife would be the ideal companion for French troops across all operational fields, with maximum efficiency built into its design.

All of the company's famous French knife types are painstakingly put together in its GÉNÉRALE DE DÉCOUPAGE (GDD) facility. This business has more than 100 CNC machines spread out across 6,500 square meters of workshop space, and its 200 tons of steel stock can support 250 projects per year. Each type of knife is designed and crafted by different skilled workers. Robotic polishing, assembly, finishing, laser engraving, plastic injection, and other processes are only some of the many specialties offered by G.D.D., a top-tier manufacturer.

Everyday, users, and collectors appreciate the variety and precision work that goes into each TB Outdoor Knives. Here are some of the most sought-after TB knife categories.

TB Outdoor Knives Categories

TB Outdoor Baroudeur Camp Knives: Don't scratch up your kitchen and mess with dull knives! Baroudeur Camp Knives are lightweight and durable while also being sharp. You don't want to be that person who is stuck with a knife but has nothing to cut. Be prepared! Baroudeur Camp Knives give you three tools in one: a can opener, corkscrew, and bottle opener. With their stainless steel blades and non-slip coating on the handles, there are no excuses for not opening food and drink with these knives. The provided nylon sheaths have belt loops and attaching rings for securely stowing your blade and flatware. Nylon sheaths prevent damage to the Baroudeur Camp Knives from rain and sweat. And while not in use, the knives can be safely stored and transported thanks to the sheaths' padded interior.

TB Outdoor CAC Axis Knives: The CAC Axis Knives, designed in collaboration with Philippe Perotti, have every cutting-edge technology one may hope to find in a professional knife. Blades for CAC knives are made from Nitrox and come with both serrated and smooth options. In addition, blades are made of nitrogen-doped stainless steel, which has a high capacity for corrosion resistance, and are covered with a PVD coating that further increases corrosion resistance. This steel's cutting ability is another advantage of its unique blend of malleability and extreme toughness. These CAC outdoor knives are available in different colors, from army green to red, and handle construction, such as PA6 and G10.

TB Outdoor Commandeur Knives: A modern take on the classic fixed blade, the Commander collection's blades are crafted of hard-wearing, high-quality MOX steel. MOX steel, which contains 18% chromium, is 3 mm thick, durable, and corrosion resistant. The sleek and clean design is exquisitely functional, with its ergonomic handles crafted from either G10 or textured Ziricote Wood. Stonewash cleaning and a natural look ensure that the handles will not reflect any unwanted light. The knives from Commandeur are perfect for use in the great outdoors as tools or as accessories for hunting, fishing, and camping. Designed for any task, the Commander series has you covered.

TB Outdoor French Army Camp Knives: The Bivouac picnic folding knives are made in Thiers, France, by the French cutlery company Tarrerias-Bonjean. Practical and easily transportable. You can count on them to be there for you wherever your travels take you, and the hardened stainless steel blades will come in handy for more than simply slicing meat. Their attractive, streamlined, and lightweight ABS handles come in army green and black, are shockproof, and provide a firm grip. Each of the knives sold by TB Outdoor is entirely French-made.

TB Outdoor Survival Knives: This series includes some of the best French-made survival and tactical knives. They are made of high-performance MOX stainless steel and can withstand a lot of wear and tear. Some of the models in this series have sleeves coated in Paracord 550, a military-grade material that is both soft and durable enough to ensure a tight grasp in any situation. The "trigger" beneath the handles allows for a firm grip while providing ample finger room. The black PVD coating offers superior protection against wear and corrosion while also helping to hide the tool's distinctive appearance.

TB Outdoor Unboxer EDC Knives: Lightweight and flat, the TB Outdoor Unboxer knives feature non-locking blades under three inches, making them legal to carry in the UK. Unboxer knives' innovative blade design is the key to their impressive versatility. These mechanisms are significantly lighter because they do not use a spring or plates. As a result, they may be easily folded up and taken with you. The flat design makes them easy to conceal and valuable for filling empty spaces in your luggage. TB Outdoor's innovative technology eliminates the need for a spring, resulting in significant weight savings, and guarantees a solid grip on the blades in either the open or closed position. Several editions of the TB Unboxer EDC knives are available, including the Vengeur and All Midnight.
