When a regular shift worker turned his modest pastime into a multi-million dollar business, Frost Cutlery and Knives was born. In 1969, Jim Frost started collecting pocket knives, and in 1978, after a few years of working alongside other businesses, he began importing cutlery with the Frost Cutlery tang stamp. Jim's lunch bucket served as the company's first location and later expanded into his car trunk, garage, and four steadily bigger warehouses. The devotion and tolerance of the Frost Cutlery staff are admirable and serve as proof of their longevity in the company.

The Canoe Pocket knives feature Mirror finish 440 stainless spear and pen blades. The High-end and mid-range stainless steel, 440c, has excellent corrosion and wear resistance. The quality of the steel and these perfect steel knives are improved by the steel with a great mirror shine. The Frost Cutlery Canoe Pocket Knives feature pick bone handles that provide a superior ergonomic feel to these knives and render them easy to use by the users. An attractive handle made of bone gives a knife a distinctive personality. The typical material for handles is bone, which has been utilized for thousands of years.

Moreover, the Nickel silver bolsters in the Canoe knives allow for an easy transition between the blades and the handles.
