Fisher Space Pens

For over 40 years, Fisher Space Pens have been some of the world's most brilliantly designed writing instruments. Built for use in any environment imaginable and available in various colors and styles, this is your go-to pen for a good reason.

Even though Paul C. Fisher revolutionized the pen industry 20 years earlier with the invention of the 'Universal Cartridge Refill,' it was his creation of the sealed and pressurized ink cartridge that propelled the corporation into space in 1967. First used on Apollo 7, Fisher Space Pens have subsequently been used on every NASA manned space voyage. With over three million visitors each year, the Fisher Space Pen has its dedicated exhibition at the Apollo / Saturn V section at Kennedy Space Center.

Fisher Space Pens aren't just for astronauts. The innovative encapsulated and compressed ink cartridge enables them to write in just about any weather and on any surface, over grease or in the water. Heat waves (-35 to +121 C/-30 to +250 F) Floating in a gravity-free area, upside down or otherwise. Fisher pens will do their job regardless of the circumstance. Seal and pressurized ink cartridges with an estimated 100-year shelf life are three times more durable than the usual pen. The organization offers over 85 distinct patterns and styles as an additional perk.

All You Need to Know about Fisher Space Pens

After a few days of practice and frequent use, many individuals appreciate the Fisher Bullet Space Pen. Compared to a regular cheap ballpoint pen, this pen writes smoothly and doesn't leave any sticky residue behind. In addition, without exerting excessive pressure, the writing instrument creates a rich, deep black stroke on the paper.

One of Fisher Space Pen Company's pens, the Zero Gravity Pen, is a pen that can write in outer space, underwater, over the wet or oily paper, at any angle, or in any temperature range using pressurized ink cartridges.

The original G7 Chrome Plated Astronaut Space Pen is still in production, which was used in the Apollo 7 mission in 1968 by NASA. The company uses the same chrome material, design, and manufacturing techniques to provide buyers with a pen that can write in any condition, surface, earth, and outer space.

To this day, the pen you purchase is identical to the one used on the lunar surface in 1969. The pen's weight rests comfortably in your hand when you write with it. It is made of solid brass with an exceptionally durable Chrome plating. It has a very positive and robust feel to the click action. Push the top or side buttons to expand or retract the refill. It features an innovative design to keep the tip retracted before securing it in your pocket. It's built entirely of brass and steel of the best quality, and it's manufactured right here in the United States.

Fisher makes a variety of pens for outer space, all of which utilize the Fisher pressurized refill. A nitrogen gas plug guarantees a consistent flow of ink at any angle, so the pen doesn't depend on gravity to pull ink from the refill, which employs a thixotropic ink that remains solid until stirred by the ballpoint.

Fisher pens can write in temperatures ranging from -35 to 121 degrees Celsius, making them ideal for adverse weather conditions. You may even use them to tackle the crossword puzzle in bed!!

Many of Fisher's space pens have been given numerous design prizes and are on display in the Museum of Modern Art, including the famous "AG-7 Astronaut" pen. Fisher also makes the smaller, retractable "Shuttle" family of space pens.
