#113 Series by Opinel Knives

The 113 series by Opinel Knives is known for its premium quality in peeling. The handles of the Opinel Knives are usually made from beechwood. Being hard and durable, beechwood is preferred by manufacturers. The colors of the handles vary from light yellow to light pink. The French wood has small dark dashes on its surface. The edge of the knife is serrated with secondary V-edge sharpening. The blade is made of martensitic stainless steel, i.e. Sandvik 12C27 steel, which is extremely hard and resistant to corrosion. The presence of nitrogen makes it hard, and chromium makes it corrosion resistant. It has a hardness of 58 HRC. One of the best among the kitchen knives, 113 Series Opinel knives come with a western grip for easy and comfortable use. Different models of the series are perfect for different purposes in the kitchen. These knives are also dishwasher safe due to coated finishing of the handle, and chromium presence in the blade.
