Sam was an avid outdoorsman and worked as a volunteer Firefighter in this community. This family-based business which has its roots in Douglassville, Pennsylvania has got its R&D team being managed by Sam. His wife, Vicki who holds over 30 years of experience in emergency healthcare services with extensive knowledge in the medical field, looks after the production as well as quality control department.           

Go Prepared partnered with a U.S. Military Contractor in 2017 to supply genuine military issued tinder. Sold to U.S Army and NATO, these waxed cotton strips are now available in the market as Spartan Fire™. Being first foldable multi-use EDC tinder, these strips are getting much appreciation in the global market.

Go Prepared does not warrant their products against normal wear or misuse. Products are not intended to be used as hammers, chisels, pry bars, or screwdrivers. If your knife or other item was damaged due to misuse, our repair department can analyze the damage and repair it for a reasonable fee.
